  Each year we cut over 500 acres. This is up to 3 cuttings a season. We strive to cut every 28 - 35 days which provides us with the highest quality hay available. Our cutting process delivers high nutrition and palatability.

What We Do

Producing Top Quality Hay For Sale

McDaniel Farm's has been producing some of the best forages in Ky.  We primarily produce Timothy & Orchard Grass, Alfalfa & Timothy, and Alfalfa & Orchard Grass in small square bales.  All of our small square bale production is stored inside large barns ensuring a long term quality product.  Our square bale products are highly reputable with horse owners and stables along with dairy farms and beef cattle farms. Through a thorough understanding of the nutrients needs of performance horses we ensure quality products through: field rotation, field cleaning of any foreign species and adding nutrients into the soil regularly. Our storage capability exceeds 10,000 + bales.

 Mcdaniel Farm's also produces a number of round hay rolls. Also small square bales of straw are also available upon request.

Quality Versus Price

At McDaniel Farm's our bale weight on average is 60 - 65 lbs.  Most local bales weigh 40 - 60 lbs.  Always check when comparing prices, you are comparing your bale weights and product quality.
